Dr Damon Young is a philosopher, author and columnist. Damon is the author of Distraction, Philosophy in the Garden, How to Think About Exercise and the forthcoming The Art of Reading. Damon has also published poetry and short fiction. An Honorary Fellow in Philosophy at the University of Melbourne, he has written for The Age, Sydney Morning Herald, The Guardian, The Australian, the ABC and the BBC.
